15 PhD students hired to investigate Critical Climate Transitions

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

After successful recruitment rounds, 15 PhD students (Early Stage Researchers -ESRs) have now been appointed for CriticalEarth, and will form an exciting network that will close key knowledge gaps in our current understanding of fast-slow systems and high-dimensional dynamical systems. The students will develop new methods for assessing the mechanisms and associated risks of critical transitions in the climate.

Through close collaboration, the students and host organisations will investigate climate model behaviour through the model hierarchy moving from low to high dimensionality and from simple to complex dynamics.

We received high interest in each PhD position, and we would like to say thank you to all applicants.
